The Rain Forest

As I walk through the humid, muggy rain forest of South America, I see hundreds of fine looking skyscraper trees as thin as an arm towering into the sky. The thick mist that blankets the forest makes it nearly hopeless to see through. Up above on the tops of the moist trees lay hundreds of waxy multi coloured leaves from green to lime. There are endless possibilities of colour, if you look on top of the rain forest it may look wavy and fluffy because of the ways the tress are formed.

On the very bottom of the rain forest I see some little rock pools, there it is home to many different species of insects like the bullet ant. As I walk further along I can smell the crisp, fresh air breathed by many different animals from insects as small as a pebble to animals as big as a boulder.  Though there are a lot of trees from the kapok trees to the cinchona lots are being deforested to get materials and make more land.
